Radio Silence...Well, not quite "Silence"
So you'll all have to forgive me for the last few weeks. Things have gotten more or less hairy around here, and we have one word to blame for it - cholic. Yep, it appears that our lil' girl has just decided to test all of the acoustics in our townhouse with what else? Her sweet, sonorous, shrieking for no good reason.
After a while, you just gotta do whatcha just gotta do.

We're not bad parents...really...
Fortunately, however, we've been able to figure out some work-arounds, and we've been duly rewarded lately. Our lil' girl is starting to make eye contact, and follow people around, and even crack a half-grin here and there. We haven't been able to catch that on camera yet, but I must admit my staring at this from time to time.

Can ya blame me?

Haha! I found that same trick with Ray's stroller. I could put the blanket down and pull down the bar to hold it in place. It was great for about a week or two until he started woring on his eye hand motor skills and started knocking the bottle over every few minutes.
The binky, all about the binky. A good hold over until he's really really hungry. Unfortunately here too he started playing games with it and pushing it out so you'd pop it back in.
It seems about every week or two he has a new favorite thing or way to be held or layed down. Some little magical thing that works like a charm for about a week. Ultimately the only consitent thing I've found is checking for a wet diaper. abour 3/5 times that's it these days. And he's all smiles after that!
